2018年11月29日，越南工贸部发布公告称，越南四家企业代表国内产业于2018年10月18日对原产于中国的铝型材（越语：nhôm thanh）向越南贸易救济局提起反倾销调查立案申请。
越南工贸部预计将自本公告发布之日起45日内决定是否立案。
